Marion serves as COO of the company since 2024. Marion has more than 20 years of experience in building Biotech companies. Beforehand, she was a co-founder and CEO of ChromoTek since 2011. She built the company towards a market leader in its segment of developing innovative reagents based on camelid nanobodies for biomedical research. Marion successfully sold and integrated the company ChromoTek to the Proteintech Group in Illinois, USA. Beforehand, she was a Principal at renowned Venture Capital firm Earlybird Ventures for 12 years, where she defined investment strategies, prepared many investments of the fund in Biotech and Medical Device companies, and was involved in Due Diligences, follow-on financings and exits of Earlybird’s portfolio companies.

Marion is a molecular biologist by training with a PhD and postdoctoral period from highly-ranked LMU Munich in the lab of nobel-prize for Medicine winner Svante Pääbo in Munich.

Marion is appointed to represent the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action on the Investment Committe Life Sciences and Chemistry of German Hightech Founders Fund and serves on the Advisory Board of Fox Corporate Finance GmbH.
