T-CURX CAR-T cell Development Candidate Pipeline

T-CURX sponsored clinical lead CAR-T program TCX-001 targets Siglec-6, which is a differentiated target expressed on AML-blasts and leukemic stem cells. In contrast to other AML targets, e.g. CD33 or CD123, Siglec-6 is not expressed on healthy hematopoeitic stem or progenitor cells. This spares the hematopoietic stem cell compartment from destruction by CAR-T cells. Based on this unique aspect, Siglec-6 CAR-T therapy could provide an effective therapy for AML as a stand alone treatment, rather than being just a “bridge to transplant”.

CAR-T pipeline programs 2 and 3 against undisclosed targets are clinically validated in close collaboration with and sponsored by the University Hospital Würzburg, Germany. These programs target novel, so-called cross-entity targets, which are relevant both for hematological as well as solid tumor targets. In both studies patients with hematological malignancies, as well as solid tumors will be enrolled.
