George Kokke

Board member

George Kokke serves on the Board member of T-CURX since December 2022. George is a partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Bardos, LLC, a California based investment advisory and management firm. Bardos specializes in investing in alternative assets such as Venture Capital, Real Estate, Private Equity and Hedge Funds. Prior to becoming CIO, he served in various positions at CICA, Inc., a California based family office, since 1995.

In addition to his employment at Bardos, George has served as Director of NBE Therapeutics, an ADC drug development company until it was sold to Boehringer Ingelheim, as a Director of XpandOrtho, Inc., a start-up medical device company that was sold to Exactech, Inc. He currently serves on the Board of Turing Medical, Inc. an MRI software company. He also sits on the Advisory Board of various institutional private equity funds including Pureos Bioventures, a European based biotech venture capital fund. Bardos, Inc. has a strong focus on health care investing with many of the most recognized healthcare VC firms, crossover funds, and public equity funds globally.

Prior to joining Bardos, George was Chief Operating Officer of Interzone, Inc., a San Diego based Import/Export Company. Prior thereto, he was Chief Operating Officer of Global Vision Trading, Inc., another San Diego based Import/Export Company. Before moving to San Diego, George served as Finance Manager at Coopers & Lybrand in London, England, where he lived and worked for four years.

George was educated in Pennsylvania and Arizona and received his B.S. in Business with a Finance Major from the University of Arizona, Tucson. George also currently holds a California Real Estate Broker License. He has lived in San Diego, California since 1992.

As part of his business activities, George previously served as an Officer and a Director for the Panta Rhea Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation based in Sausalito, California that focuses on youth, arts in education, and various models of sustainable living.
