March 17, 2017. T-CURX GmbH incoporated following M4-award period

M4-award granted to T-CURX founders resulted in incorporation of T-CURX with Michael Hudecek, Christoph Rader and Ulf Grawunder as co-founders

Today, the incorporation of a new Biotech spin-off company, T-CURX (spoken "tea-kju:r-ex"), from the University of Würzburg, Germany, is announced.

In 2015 the co-founders of T-CURX had received a competitive 2-year € 500'000 pre-seed competition award, called M4-award (see: https://www.m4-award.org/en.ht...), awarded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, State Development and Energy to the laboratory of Prof. Michael Hudecek at University Clinics of Würzburg.

The M4-award was aimed at supporting the commercial translation of Prof. Hudecek's cutting-edge research in the field of CAR-T cell manufacturing and product development. This highly competitive 2-year pre-seed M4 award was used to build a solid intellectual property basis and a first business concept for the new company T-CURX.

The co-founders of T-CURX, incorporated today, were Prof. Michael Hudecek, MD (University Clinics of Würzburg, Germany), Prof. Christoph Rader, PhD (The Scripps Research Institute, Jupiter, Florida, U.S.) and Dr. Ulf Grawunder, PhD (also founder and CEO of NBE-Therapeutics, Basel, Switzerland).
