Jan is serving as Head of Research & Development at T-CURX. He has over 20 years of in-depth experience in research and development in various biotech companies. In his professional career, he was heading different research groups at MorphoSys AG and Sloning Biotech, amongst others.

As a group leader at MorphoSys, he was supervising a team of 30 scientists and technicians, focusing on therapeutic antibody development and generation. He led several global collaborations with pharmaceutical companies and successfully managed multiple therapeutic antibody programs until selection of lead candidates.

As a member of the executive team of Sloning Biotechnology, a German biotech company, he was fully responsible for the development of a globally unique proprietary DNA synthesis technology and its subsequent commercialization.

Given his thorough R&D background, Jan holds numerous granted patents in the field of synthetic biology.
