Andreas Geissler serves as Director Intellectual Property and brings over 20 years of experience in managing and prosecuting IP portfolios with a strong focus on life sciences, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He is a European and German Patent Attorney and advises on the strategic development, protection and portfolio management of IP assets across the full innovation lifecycle.

In his professional career, Andreas has worked both in private practice and in-house as Director IP at Medigene and VP IP & Legal at Leukocare AG, giving him the full perspective on how to align IP strategy with scientific development and business objectives of biotech companies. His practical experience spans from invention harvesting to representing patent matters before the Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office.

Thanks to his academic background in chemistry and molecular cell biology, combined with many years of advising innovative technology-driven businesses, Andreas combines scientific depth with practical legal and commercial judgment.
